Application
ECOMETER Chlorine-Analyzer is the element of a chlorination sytem, that can measure the contents of
free chlorine in the water with the help of a chlorine-sensor. This information will be forwarded to the
ECOMAT controller, that controls the chlorination process. A simple, two-point control can be executed by itself as well. This unit also receives various signals (voltage and current) of a pH measuring unit, and it measures the water-temperature.
Measured free chlorine value is then compensated by these parameters.
It has two analog outputs, (voltage and current) and data can also be accessed digitally.
The chlorine-sensor cell consists of two metal rings, separated by an isolation ring. One of them is goldplated, and the other one is made from copper.
Technical Data:
Free chlorine contents of the water generates current in the wire that connects to the two rings. This current generates voltage on the variable shunt-resistors at the input stage. The unit stores all the data and ajustments in a non-volatile memory (EEPROM) so they do not disappear even if it is switched off. IP 65 Protective housing makes the unit suitable to be applied in corrosive or wet environment.
